I've been WFH for 10+ years as a software developer, and until this year I would say 90%+ of the time was spent standing, with an $80 Ikea office chair as my occasional seat. After having issues with tight calves this year (maybe due to standing 8 hours a day for so long), I decided to invest in a quality chair for the first time.
After a few weeks of reading reviews and some research, I decided on this chair, mostly due to what reviewers have been saying, and also the minimalist aesthetic. I wasn't sure if the investment would be worth it, but after about a month now I would say definitely yes! Mixing up the sitting and standing has really helped me physically. The numerous adjustment options make this easily the most comfortable chair I've ever used. The level of recline with the added headrest is a must in my opinion - it's great to be able to lay back with head support throughout the day, to take a quick break, think something over, or have one of my kids hop on and read me something! I am impressed with the build quality, packaging, and ease of assembly.
Time will tell how well the chair holds up to daily use. For now I am very happy with this purchase! Definitely contemplating an electric desk now for more convenient transitions from standing to sitting and vice versa. Branch will now be at the top of my list of candidates for that investment as well!

After years of waffling on buying a new office chair, I was super curious about Branch vs. more expensive brands like Herman Miller. After a super quick visit to both showrooms, Branch won easily - the chair is comfortable, stylish, doesn’t feel ‘corporate’ and is truly customizable in ways I don’t believe are possible in other chairs (or at least, haven’t been made visible to me in ~10 years of using HM chairs in corporate offices). The vegan leather is soft and breathable, even in a home office with significant sun. Shipping was very fast and set up was incredibly easy (took ~15 mins). Highly recommend!

I have been using a “gaming chair” for 6 years. That chair was finished by year 2. After looking for a few weeks, I came across Branch while scrolling through Reddit. Based on the amount of communication and support I witnessed, I was already hooked to check em out. Though they are a small company and competing with giants such as Haworth, Steelcase and Herman Miller, I decided to give them a shot! For years I’ve used gaming chairs for comfort. I wanted a change though from the bulky look. I’ve worked in offices for years and know that most office chairs are not for long hours. When researching, I came across Branch. The chair had almost everything my last gaming chair did and was much nicer looking. Around the same price point as well. Looked at all the reviews I could find and found mostly very positive with just a few suggested modifications. I’m happy that I bought the chair. I haven’t had a TV in 25+years. I use my computer for entertainment, news source and gaming. I’m in the chair as much as when I worked. I have been using the chair for over 3 weeks and have little to suggest in improvements. I am hoping that it lasts as long as my last chair did which was over 6 years.

I researched office chairs for months after my friend sent me a link to check out a chair from Branch. It was love at first sight and I couldn’t shake this Ergonomic Pro in the vegan leather, it was so stunning! But I didn’t want to buy on an impulse because luxury is expensive and I really needed to think this through. I compared this chair to so many available from competitors that are nice, but let’s be honest, they don’t come close to this one in quality and functionality. What sold me on this one was that it had a thick seat, an adjustable lumbar, and fully adjustable arms. No other chair at this price point offers this.
Assembly was straightforward. I definitely sweat, but did not swear, so that means it was fairly easy. I put this together by myself, since my dog can’t help me, so the most challenging part of assembly was placing the chair top onto the the bottom… I ended up tilting everything sideways and going that route, and it worked!
My original chair immediately went to the thrift store. It’s still good, but never should have been an office chair for 5 years. WOW did I get an upgrade! Having used it for a full work week, I’m incredibly pleased with the quality and comfort. Get one—you won’t be sorry!
