For years, standing desk converters have offered a practical path to sit-stand working—perfect for those who want better ergonomics without replacing a cherished desk or making room for a dedicated standing desk. Unfortunately, they've also long been characterized by industrial aesthetics that dominate your workspace. After three years of design and extensive engineering, we developed an innovative open-frame architecture that combines safe and stable height adjustment with a minimal aesthetic that enhances any space.
Our breakthrough in form and function starts with an open frame that appears as thoughtful as it performs—with a spring-assisted mechanism that supports smooth transitions between sitting and standing, a comfort edge to reduces pressure points, and a minimal footprint that respects mixed-use spaces. Whether at home or in the office, the Desk Riser offers the freedom to work how you want, where you want—with no tools or complex setup required. Add the optional shelf to elevate screens and create a more expansive workspace that adapts to your needs.

Out of all the standing desk converters I've tried, this one works the best for my specific use case (and I'm choosing this over much less expensive and arguably bigger and more robust second hand standing desk converter options on FB Marketplace, as well as ones on Amazon). The only issue, which it might just be a defect with mine is that at the lower mid ish point of raising the desk riser after pressing/holding the lever, it feels like the assisted lift mechanism stops assisting you for a brief period and you have to just pull it up before you get the assist again, and after that it's completely smooth. I attached a video to sort of show what I mean. Keep in mind that the way I set up my riser is such that it is back heavy (I have an ultrawide monitor and lightweight laptop/keyboard/mouse), so when this happens sometimes it does lift up the front slightly and it tilts. However, I'm not afraid of the monitor falling or anything like that, as this has happened many times before and it's stable enough to stop before it tilts too far. Just keep in mind your hand positioning and that you lift straight up and stop if it tilts, especially if you're near the weight limit (which I don't think I am) or if your weight is imbalanced on the desk riser (which I do think it is for my case). Other than that, it is a bit hard to push down when the lever is engaged, but this is actually a good thing, as a thing with a lot of other standing desk risers, even the more expensive ones, is that…

Regarding the moment where the lift assist feels inconsistent, what you’re experiencing is normal for the design. The lower portion of the lift uses a spring mechanism, which provides strong assistance through the first part of the motion. As you reach the top of that spring’s range, there is a brief transition point before the gas strut takes over. That gap can feel like a short pause in lift support, especially if your setup is back weighted.
Your video notes and description reflect the exact scenario where that transition can be more noticeable. As long as you lift straight up and remain mindful of the weight distribution, the riser will continue to operate safely and stay stable.
We appreciate you sharing your experience in such a clear and helpful way. It is great to know the design, stability, and details like the curved front have made a difference for your workflow.

Got this for my job and started a trend, now two more people in the office are getting standing desks. I love how big it is, it's sturdy, and still looks and feels elevated

I love my desk riser. I use it every day in my work from home set up and it’s nice looking and gives me the option to either stand or sit.

I went back and forth for a while whether this would be worth it and I’m happy to report it is! I’ve used it almost daily and helps me get up (and even get moving) when I’m stuck in meetings/work all day. I will say, it’s quite heavy which I just wasn’t expecting so if you’re planning on moving it around a lot, it’s pretty difficult. I’ve also had a couple experiences where I can’t move the desk down. It takes a few tries, sometimes walking away from it for a couple minutes, and then trying again for the mechanism to work. Not sure what’s going on with that but it’s also worked eventually so I’m not concerned about it.
