    Overview

    The Tall Cylinder is designed for customers 5'11" and taller. With a higher starting seat height and extra 3" of height adjustment, this taller cylinder ensures your hips remain at a 90-degree angle or more relative to your knees, which helps to improve comfort and reduce pressure on your hips and lower back.

    If tall, do it

    I am 6'4" and it is about time that I adjust to seat that fits me. I wish I would have done it years ago.

    Tall? You need this.

    Does exactly what it's supposed to do - adds height to the adjustable range of the Ergonomic Pro Chair for those of us over 6'3" tall! Easy to install during initial chair assembly, and only a little more work to add later to replace the shorter cylinder the chair ships with if you've installed it already.

    The tall cylinder made all the difference

    I’m 5'9" and ordered the regular cylinder, assuming it would be the right fit. My first impression was honestly one star. Branch reached out and suggested trying the tall cylinder, and it made a huge difference.

    With the tall cylinder, the chair feels much better. I especially like the lumbar support and how fully adjustable the arms are. I still don’t find the seat cushion as comfortable as some chairs I’ve owned, so it’s not quite five stars for me. But Branch’s suggestion turned this into a chair I’m happy with.

    Perfect for taller people

    I'm not extremely tall, but I find that I typically extend "normal" chairs to their full height, and it still doesn't feel quite right. This Tall Cylinder starts out at "almost" tall enough, and goes up from there.

    One issue I've noticed with many other brands is that the cylinder "leaks" after a while, and I find the chair slowly lowering itself. The main issue is that, as I've already mentioned, the chair is already not tall enough, and for it to just go shorter creates a lot of posture and comfort issues. This Tall Cylinder is still quite young, but even if it develops a leak after a number of years, it's still tall enough that it won't cause issues, and I can easily buy a replacement from Branch.
